The Muralists Painting Studio is a part of the local arts community in Monmouth County, NJ, helping to develop the non profit groups Arts Coalition of Asbury Park (ArtsCAP) and The Shore Institute of Contemporary Arts (SICA) in Long Branch.
We coordinated and assisted with an exterior mural done by ArtsCAP artist Charles Trott at the Asbury Park Boys & Girls Club. In addition, we organized monthly showcases of fine art and music by local artists in downtown Asbury Park.
Our goals have been about championing local artists, while helping to advocate public art within the community.
Working on projects within this realm continues to be an enriching experience for us as artists and individuals.
